CleanFUEL USA Showcases Propane Autogas Vehicles and Dispensers at NPGA Southeastern Convention and International Expo

GEORGETOWN, TX –– April 5, 2016 – In anticipation of the largest annual gathering of propane marketers at the National Propane Gas Association Southeastern Convention and International Expo, CleanFUEL USA is encouraging propane marketers to make the switch to propane autogas vehicles to meet their fleet needs.

“Propane marketers now have multiple OEM options available in each vehicle segment, and should be leveraging those,” said Curtis Donaldson, founder and managing partner of CleanFUEL USA. “Yes, gas and diesel are priced low at the moment, but propane has followed that trend and the ROI is ever present, especially for marketers who are privy to the lowest pricing on the market for autogas. What better way for our industry to spread the word about autogas than by example?”

CleanFUEL USA (booth #1522), alongside Westport (booth #T-1526), will display a top option for propane marketers, the Ford F-150, featuring CleanFUEL USA’s Liquid Propane Injection (LPI) system at the show in Nashville, TN, from April 8-11, 2016. The F-150 is the only EPA and CARB* certified, dedicated propane autogas half-ton pickup truck available in the market, and the only autogas F-150 backed by Ford under their QVM program. Designed to transport passengers and cargo, the 2016 Ford F-150 offers a 5.0L engine with improved emissions compared to gasoline, and the new aluminum alloy body reduces the truck’s weight by as much as 700 lbs.

CleanFUEL USA and Westport will host a giveaway of a 35-quart Yeti cooler and two Yeti Ramblers for attendees who enter the drawing at booths #1522 and #T-1526. The winner will be drawn on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT, and entrants must be present to win. Westport is also offering a free pickup truck wrap for marketers who order the F-150.

In addition to the Ford offering, CleanFUEL USA offers a 6.0 liter LPI-equipped option for GM pickup trucks, including the C2500 and 3500 Silverado and Sierra models. In the medium-duty truck segment, Freightliner Custom Chassis offers an 8.0 liter S2G truck with LPI. With a GVWR of 33,000 lbs., it offers fleet owners lower operational costs and reduced emissions, without sacrificing payload capacity or performance. FCCC will also showcase a S2G bobtail in booth # T-255. The truck is available in several additional body configurations, including a flat bed and box. FCCC now offers a digital “build your S2G” program where fleets are able to customize various features and customizations tailored to their specific needs.

CleanFUEL USA will also showcase the Elaflex ZVG2 Euro nozzle and three dispensers, a P7000, P6000 and P2000 series. Each dispenser includes the company’s eCONNECT software technology for remote access to diagnostics and reporting as well as Endress+Hauser mass flow meters.

*Certification expected April 2016.
