Why invest in a propane powered fleet?
Because propane autogas is a clean, American-made fuel, most states offer incentives to encourage adoption and use. Incentives may include grant programs, loan programs, leasing programs, tax incentives and credits, rebate programs, and exemptions. Please contact us to find out what your fleet may qualify for.
CleanFUEL USA is excited to announce the final passage by the U.S. House and Senate of the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015. This tax bill includes a two-year extension through Dec. 31, 2016, for both the Alternative Fuels Tax Credit and the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit.
According to the National Propane Gas Association, the Alternative Fuel Credit will stay at the full $0.50 per gallon level for 2015; it will then adjust for energy content for fuel sales after January 1, 2016. This adjustment should set the credit at approximately $0.36 per gallon next year. Secondly, the Refueling Property Credit remains at 30% of the costs of the system up to $30,000.
Further guidance on claiming the retroactive tax credit and other information will be provided once it is released by the IRS in early 2016.
